Our Personal Experience With GMX

When we first heard of GMX magnetic fluid conditioners we could not understand how a magnetic field could affect fluids.  Finally we did some independent research and found the technology viable.  When we tried it in our own home we were amazed by the results.

Almost immediately after installing our GMX system we noticed that our water tasted better.  The GMX system helps to neutralize chlorine and sulfur tastes in the water. Later we discovered that we no longer had a problem with the hard to clean white scale that used to accumulate on our shower tile and doors.  Our toilet is now easy to clean with just a brush.  In the laundry we are getting dramatically better results.  The whites are whiter, the colors are brighter and we're using less detergent.  Our clothes are more fluffy and soft even though we now use far less fabric softener.  We purchased our system in October of 1995 and except for rare occasions when we've neglected to clean for a long time we haven't had to use toilet bowl cleaners, lime scale removers and other harsh detergents since then!

We also noticed that the system is actually removing the scale on the inside of our pipes and water heater.  This is very significant because the U.S. Bureau of standards reports that just 1/20 Th. inch of scale buildup requires 10% more energy to heat water.  A ¼ inch build up of scale results in a huge 40% increase in energy costs.  If you notice visible scale build up around your plumbing fixtures it will be much more severe in the water heater because scale accumulates most rapidly where water is heated.  A ¼ inch build up of scale in a water heater is very common.
